Cynthia's Instagram feed is absolutely beautiful - it stood out not only for her unique sense of style mixing classic with couture, snapshots of Toronto (home sweet home!) but mostly how natural her photographs came across. Not so much staged and posed like many bloggers fall victim to, but just real life, candid moments captured in the most flattering light.
We stopped to chat with Cynthia about her blog and style inspiration:
1. What is the story behind the name of your blog, Pinch of Chic?
I chose the name based on my feminine and sometimes quirky aesthetic and style. The idea of adding chic accents to anything is the kind of world I love living in and to share on my personal blogging platform.
2. Where do you live and how has this place influenced your personal style?
I live in King West of Toronto. I see a lot of tailored suits and timeless essentials -- which makes me gravitate towards owning a butt load of blazers, classic and walkable pumps and trousers. With that being said I love playing with textures and materials. I'll occasionally wear bold things like a cobalt blue coat or funky printed heels with a neutral suit because I know I'll stand out from the crowd in my neighbourhood.
3. Who are your style inspirations?
Miroslava Duma, Olivia Palermo and my mother.
4. What are your top 3 wardrobe essentials?
White blazer, Black heels, and dainty, nice watch -- my tiny watch gets a lot of compliments more than anything.
It was so much fun working with Cynthia and getting to know her - beyond her sense of style, she's down to earth and truly dedicated to her craft. We don't always get to meet bloggers in person and we're so glad to have had this opportunity!
